(TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN)
Golden Circle Advisors is pleased to announce the acquisition of Voltage Electric, Inc. of Traverse City, MI by RTG Electric, LLC of Traverse City, MI. The company had recently celebrated its 15-year anniversary. After 34 years in the industry, Voltage’s founder and owner, Matthew Vajda, made the decision to sell his business. “The timing was perfect for me to find the right buyer, as my wife, Judy, announced her retirement as Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association of the Grand Traverse Area,” Vajda, commented.
Robert Gronostalski, a licensed Master Electrician, saw the opportunity to purchase Voltage Electric as a perfect next step in his profession. “Rob is just what I was looking for in transitioning the business, he is an excellent electrician with the right skills to ensure Voltage continues our tradition of providing the highest level of service possible”. Vajda said. Rob Gronostalski continued, “It was the reputation both Voltage has built that attracted me to this opportunity. I am committed to continuing the legacy Matt has built.” Matt will be working with Rob during a transitional period, customers will see a seamless transition.
Vajda expressed his appreciation to Golden Circle Advisors (GCA), the business brokerage firm headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan with an office downstate in Plymouth, MI assisting in the transaction. “Selling a business is a very different skillset most business owners do not have, as most only sell their business once. Curtis Kuttnauer and Fred Manuel, the Senior Partners at GCA worked with both me and the buyer throughout the process,” Vajda said.
