Charlie Spearing

Charlie brings over 30 years of experience from the industrials and food manufacturing space as an operator within Private Equity backed companies on the operations and M&A integration side of transactions. He has worked on deals in different capacities ranging from $10mm-$1bn in total value. His experience leading and being in the day-to-day of organizations make him a prime fit for the value proposition Golden Circle is providing to its business owner clients in every transaction.

Charlie has also been an owner of companies that have sold in the lower middle market across different industries.

At GCA, Charlie participates in every step of the transaction from initial pitch to closing the deal and provides invaluable insights in positioning companies for the optimal outcome along with providing owners his unique perspective throughout engagements.

Today, Charlie resides in Southwest Florida with his wife where you will find him spending his free time enjoying trail bike riding, boating and other outdoor activities. Being a native of Traverse City, Michigan he is a Detroit Lions fan who likes to pull for the hometown team on Sundays in the fall. Charlie is a graduate of Michigan Technical Institute with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
